the control unit enables the "safety" start procedure, so that the engine starts
only if it is (d+=0) and after 6 sec from previous start (out=0) or from
previous engine switching off (d+=0). the 6-sec timing is necessary to meet
engine manufacturers specifications ().
moreover, if the starting input remains high (+50) for more than 20 sec starting
from the moment d+ switches on (engine on and starter driven), the output is
switched off in any (53s=open). the control unit is supplied by a permanent
battery (+30) protected by a 5a fuse.
